Having children is a beautiful emotional journey of learning how deep love can go and how to truly give. Before we have children, we are much more focused on ourselves. The moment they are born, it was as if they had always been there, and they become a part of us. It's hard to leave them in the beginning, even for a few minutes. I can only imagine how difficult it is going to be to let them venture into the world on their own. As women, there does come a time when we need to reclaim who we are. It's amazing that while finding ourselves all over again, we somehow become better mothers, wives and people.
Yael left her 3 month old baby with a family member for the morning, and devoted time just for herself. I loved photographing her and celebrating the woman she is.
